![]() ![]() ![]() I feel like that this powder is not so much a "glow" powder but a shimmer powder. The powder does set my makeup very well but I have many luminous setting powders that offer a much more natural glow and freshness. I feel like I have several very subtle highlighters that will give me a similar effect to this powder, which I feel like defeats the purpose of a setting powder. I just feel like it borders too closely to a highlighter. Overall, I feel like this is a nice powder but the amount of shimmer in it is actually too much for my taste and I love a good glow. In fact, on my warm skin tone I really don't like it because the gold shimmer is emphasized and makes me look very gold. The biggest problem I have with the shimmer being gold is that it isn't a universal shade and I don't think it would flatter every skin tone. The shimmer is also quite gold and can make you look like one of those robotic-men you find standing around on the boardwalk! Seriously, be careful about applying too much of this powder on! I have found my skin looking like I may have accidentally dusted my face with gold highlighter instead of powder. They are not large particles of shimmer but while they are super fine particles there is a lot of of shimmer running through the powder. The powder has noticeable very fine shimmer and glow. While I love a luminous finish to my face, this powder borders on too glowy. This is crucial because of the glow factor of this powder. be sure to only dip very lightly and work the product into the brush evenly before applying. I find it is best to use a little bit at a time, taking from the cap first but if you do dip into the powder directly. ![]() I found that it does set my makeup for a whole 6 to 8 hours and it looks very flawless and oil-free. It prevents oil from breaking though and breaking down makeup. The powder is super fine and sets your foundation really well. ![]()

![]() ![]() Just give us 5 minutes", is likely her just repeating what she had initially said in the very first assault, before she knew about the time loop (because deviating from what worked to get the 5 minutes could result in a different result that doesn't give her the 5 minutes). The scene where you see her say "He's got apples. Next loop he planned to coerce the information out of them, which worked, but things fell through for him when the lights were switched out. Then he set up a scene to let the two of them know he could stop the ARQ. First he posed as a dead guy to eavesdrop. He clearly had a multi-loop plan set in motion. So does Rachel, but Sonny doesn't seem to realize that. He can't straight up kill Renton because Renton has the code. But, since Sonny now knows how to make things permanent, ie he knows the code, He can hold threaten Renton with the death of Rachel. Renton can just let her die and get ready for the restart. Holding Hannah's death over Renton is impossible with the timeloops. That code leads to the destruction of the machine. The second, and I believe primary purpose was to demonstrate that he knew the code. One, as a distraction, which worked in a way because Hannah got electrocuted which ruined their plan. I think Sonny put it there for two purposes. TLDR: He wanted Renton and Hannah to know that he knew the code and thus could shut off the machine. Then, at the end of the loop, the ZMPs still arrive, because that's what happened in the first loop.Įdit: so, even if Sonny dies before calling in the ZMPs in a given loop, there is still a transmission that passes through the house that consists of someone saying "identify yourself" and then "triangulating position, ZMPs inbound," but since his radio is off (since he's dead) we don't hear it.Įdit2: I think this is probably the best explanation, but it does still leave a hole - I don't think the ZMPs actually arrive in every loop, do they? I think Renton and Hannah each had at least one loop where they lived through to the end without seeing them. It's just luck (or some timeline-cleaning equivalent) that his outgoing transmissions sync up right with the repeated incoming responses. It's the same conversation every time, and happens at roughly the same time in every loop. This explains how they keep receiving Torus/Pope broadcasts in the kitchen, and how Sonny has his conversations. Now extend that to radio signals and ZMP drones. Basically that rock would appear at the right moment, at the boundary line, and keep breaking the window in every loop. What if every interaction from the outside in is part of the time loop? IE, if a given physical object or wave crossed from the outside in at a given time in the first loop, then the same event happens in each loop, on the inside. In the very first loop, this rock would still cross the line and break the window (because the very first loop would be in sync with the outside timeline). Now, figure the rock was thrown a second later, so it was just outside the boundary when time loops. If at the exact moment when time looped (6:11:XX am) a thrown rock had just crossed the boundary line and was on its way to break a window in Renton's house (IE, it was airborne and moving already), it would finish that flight and break the window. It would be cool if true Deja Vu is just unexpectedly experiencing a small probability that your brain actually correctly predicted a series of events before it happened. The probability sphere would be everything that could possibility happen inside and everything that could possibility happen in 27 hours to interfere with what's inside the circle. This could be the outer layer of possibilities, and the easiest to break the cycle. ![]() At the end of the movie everyone knows what the machine does. (Left Right Left Die)(Left Right Right Left Die)(Left Right Right Right Left Left Right Die) We first see the character experiencing a probability set. The strategy aspect of the game is actually a little easy to overcome, with most problems being solved by training a bigger army and charging the enemy base. It’s difficult to train soldiers when you’ve got no food. You’ll want to expand for this reason and because the resources in each sector are limited and you need to continue ramping up production. Annison Star reviewer Mike Stamler felt that most of the songs were "sanforized, sanitized and safely sterilized into three basic chords" with "immature lyrics," leaving little variety on the album, and suggested that more instrumental solos would have been beneficial. Los Angeles Times critic Robert Hilburn summed up his contemporary review of Foreigner saying "The production work is crisp, the melodies are serviceable and the vocals are eager. The first attempt at mixing the album was done at Sarm Studios, London, but as they were dissatisfied with the result, the album was re-mixed at Atlantic Recording Studios by Jones, McDonald and Jimmy Douglass. I always like to involved people and get a team spirit going, which is what we did here. Both Ian and I worked closely on the way the album sounded. I had already gotten a lot of experience of working in studios, through collaborating with some top producers like Glyn Johns. John and I are down as the sole producers. I can show you my contract for the album. Typical of musicians, they wanted their names included, but they had nothing to do with what happened on the production side, although later on they remixed the album without John and me. According to Lyons:Īctually, Mick and Ian did very little on the production side. There is some disagreement about the roles that Jones and McDonald played in producing the album. Instead, Sarm Studios owners Gary Lyons, who had worked as an engineer on several Queen albums that Baker produced, and John Sinclair served as producers along with Jones and McDonald. Jones had wanted Roy Thomas Baker to produce the album, but he was not available. But I deserved a lot more of the credit than I was given. ![]() He gave me a look that said he wasn’t happy with the idea, and he reluctantly agreed. And even with Long, Long Way From Home I remember telling Mick that I wanted to have a share of the writing, because of all I’d put in to making it happen, especially on the vocal arrangements. I should have had co-writing credits on a lot more than just one song. And I’m still bitter about the way I was treated by some people connected to the band. I had a lot to do with the development of the songs. McDonald claimed that although he received a writing credit only on "Long, Long Way from Home" he had a significant role in writing several of the other songs on the album. After the formation of the band, Gramm and Jones worked on several other songs, including "Long, Long Way from Home" (along with Ian McDonald), "Cold as Ice" and "I Need You". Lead singer Lou Gramm sang three of them – "Feels Like the First Time", "Woman, Oh Woman" and "At War with the World" in his audition to form the band. Jones had written several songs that wound up on Foreigner prior to the formation of the band. It also features album tracks such as "Headknocker" and "Starrider", the latter of which features a rare lead vocal from lead guitarist and co-founder Mick Jones. It spun off three hit singles, " Feels Like the First Time", " Cold as Ice" and " Long, Long Way from Home".
